It’s starts out GREAT！ Then it’s a little slow。 I put it down and re-started a few times。 I’ll tell you this， if you pick it up。。 push through because it’s amazing！！ The last few chapters and that ending！ I am in a ball of emotions！！

I will admit I struggled （like I was told I would） through the first 150/200 pages。 I struggled not with the world building or with character introductions。 I struggled with Bryce。 Her character was so annoying to me during those first 200 pages。 But， after those initial pages I started to feel differently about Bryce。 By the end of this first book， I’m enchanted but Bryce and can a lot of myself in her。 Her loyalty to her friends， her love for her family， he ruthless grudge holding。 I’m looking I will admit I struggled （like I was told I would） through the first 150/200 pages。 I struggled not with the world building or with character introductions。 I struggled with Bryce。 Her character was so annoying to me during those first 200 pages。 But， after those initial pages I started to feel differently about Bryce。 By the end of this first book， I’m enchanted but Bryce and can a lot of myself in her。 Her loyalty to her friends， her love for her family， he ruthless grudge holding。 I’m looking to continuing this series as the year go by。 Maas has hands down joined the ranking of one of my favorite high adult fantasy writers。 。。。more

I read 100 pages of this book， and I just couldn’t do it anymore。 The world building consisted solely of info dumps， so much so that I actually had to take notes so I could even follow the story。 The spelling of ‘Hel’ irritated me so much， as well as ‘gods damn’。 Too much description about skimpy clothing， high heels and drug taking for my liking。 I just didn’t care and wasn’t enjoying it。 Not for me。

Loved all the twists and turns， it is definitely not a predictable storyline！ It did well at grabbing my attention， I couldn’t wait to find out what happened （hence my reading it in two days！）。 Some of the dialogue seemed a bit corny to me but that’s to be expected in a romance novel。

“Con amor， todo es posible”Este libro fue mi primera vez leyendo a Sarah J Maas， una autora que todo el mundo adora， por lo que mis expectativas eran altas， lo que puede ser complicado pero se superaron con creces。Al principio me costó un poco entender la dinámica de este mundo， ya que es complejo， con muchos detalles， es muy diverso y con distintas especies asi que estuve bastante perdida las primeras 200 paginas aprox del libro， pero luego comencé a entender y le agarre el hilo y no pude parar “Con amor， todo es posible”Este libro fue mi primera vez leyendo a Sarah J Maas， una autora que todo el mundo adora， por lo que mis expectativas eran altas， lo que puede ser complicado pero se superaron con creces。Al principio me costó un poco entender la dinámica de este mundo， ya que es complejo， con muchos detalles， es muy diverso y con distintas especies asi que estuve bastante perdida las primeras 200 paginas aprox del libro， pero luego comencé a entender y le agarre el hilo y no pude parar de leer。La historia te tiene atrapada todo el rato， de hecho pasan tantas cosas que a ratos llega a ser abrumador， recuerdo claramente la sensación al leer de “no puedo creer que tengo la oportunidad este libro”。 Lo ame intensamente， cada palabra de historia y a sus personajes en especial a Bryce que es la protagonista Queen Badass que necesitamos en nuestra vida y me encantó como se desarrolló el romance， con lentitud y apasionadamente。Definitivamente pasa a ser de mis libros favoritos y espero con muchas ansias la continuación。 。。。more

Pretty much agree with everyone else’s review。 The first 500 pages are way too slow and some of the world building is hit or miss。 The characters are great， and the last 300 pages are really worth it。 Definitely my least SJM book， but excited for future installments！
